Location: Ipswich, Logan, Brisbane
Hours: Part-time to full-time
Pay: $60k-120 per annum

Qualified Allied Health Assistants who work across the multidisciplinary team to provide support in sessions and/or in the office.
Mondays with the multidisciplinary team at the Brookwater office, enabling CPD, case clinics, collaborations, report writing and lots of laughs.
New graduates considered.
Your role:
Travel to patient’s homes to provide meaningful therapeutic supports in context.
Making assessments of patients’ conditions.
Formulating and introducing treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of patients.
Completing documentation as required, including detailed reports.
Educating patients and family members.
Referring patients to doctors and other medical practitioners.
Collaborating with the allied health team to create targeted group programs.
Using tried and tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide the best care.
Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required.
Staying up to date with developments in treatments.
Supervision of allied health assistant and students.
Other tasks as directed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Podiatry or equivalent as a minimum.
Some experience with disability is viewed favourably.
Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and adults living with a disability.
Communication skills to build rapport with diverse clients & families.
Attention to detail with a focus on documentation and people.
Effective time management to work autonomously.
Proven teamwork skills.
Attention to detail.
APHRA registration.*
National Police Check.*
First Aid Training.*
Driver’s license.
Road-worthy, insured vehicle.
